About Micro DIY
MICRO DIY aims to empower underrepresented youth including young women and immigrants and youth with skills in digital sustainable entrepreneurship to thrive in digital economy and create a more inclusive development by providing them and youth trainers, practitioners and advisors with targeted learning/training solutions leveraging digital tools and methodologies.
Despite increasing recognition of digital entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic growth and innovation, many young people— particularly women, immigrants, and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds—face significant barriers to entry. MICRO DIY is designed to address these challenges by providing accessible, flexible, and high-quality learning experiences through digital platforms.

Key Objectives
The project will achieve this aim through following operational objectives:
– Provide tools and resources within the platform to empower youth trainers to effortlessly create micro-lessons. This includes offering pre-designed templates and tutorials tailored for creating micro-learning content. This initiative enhances the quality of digital entrepreneurship education and training.
– Enhance young people and early-stage digital entrepreneurs’ knowledge and skills in the realm of digital sustainable entrepreneurship through micro-courses.
– Provide tools and resources within the platform to empower youth trainers to effortlessly create micro-lessons. This includes offering pre-designed templates and tutorials tailored for creating micro-learning content. This initiative enhances the quality of digital entrepreneurship education and training.
– Enhance young people and early-stage digital entrepreneurs’ knowledge and skills in the realm of digital sustainable entrepreneurship through micro-courses.
– Create a dedicated space for digital entrepreneurs within the platform to establish a pop-up store for digital entrepreneurs to showcase their work and products.
– Develop a mentoring system within the platform through the existing pop-up store user base to facilitate connections between advanced digital entrepreneurs with young individuals aspiring to enter or currently starting their ventures.
